Welcome to the home of Lab.gruppen & Lake’s training and certification programme, designed to cover all aspects of Lake® Controller software and Lab.gruppen PLM™ Series Powered Loudspeaker Management™ systems and Lake LM Series Standalone Digital Audio Processors.
Our Training Ethos
Lab.gruppen and Lake are dedicated to product training and that commitment has only grown with the success of our Powered Loudspeaker Management (PLM Series) platform, utilizing integrated Lake Processing technology, and the introduction of the standalone Lake LM Series Digital Audio Loudspeaker processors.
Our desire is to provide dynamic, rich and in-depth training that covers the Lake Controller software platform, unique Lab.gruppen PLM Series features, Dante audio networking and all other aspects of our tour-honed product offering. In addition we are expanding the availability of our training and education programs with with a semi-regular series of webinars. Dates of these will be posted in the “Events” section of the website.
We also aim to deliver regular video content that will aid comprehension and usability of the Lake Controller software and associated hardware. These can be accessed via the “Videos” link in the main navigation above.
Who should attend the training?
Courses are open to everyone who would like to be Lab.gruppen Lake/PLM certified.
Generally most people would fall into one of the following categories.
- All FOH and Monitor Engineers
- Sound Technicians of all types for Touring/Install/Production
- Touring/Event Production Company Engineering Staff
- Audio Integrators/Contractors – Sales, Engineering, and Field and Shop Staff
- Consultants of all types for High Performance Audio Systems
The courses assume a working knowledge of professional audio systems, basic audio fundamentals and basic computer skills.
